General conference is for everyone

General conference is always a fun time for me. I love the slow day and the luxury of relaxing together, feeling uplifted and renewed. I guess Eliza thought it was a good idea for all her 'friends' to watch conference too. I came out from putting Naomi to bed and all of a sudden we had a room full of visitors paying rapt attention.

We try to provide activities for the kids so that they are happy and so that we can actually listen to what speakers are saying. This year it was watercolors. Eliza and Samuel made quite a few works of art. Luc participated until he was worn out.

Luc didn't make it all the way through both sessions and had a nice nap simulating paying attention....he must have picked that up from his dad.

Later that night, I heard Luc in the bedroom saying over and over (not in his inside voice) )"I love it!!" "I just love it!!" I found him staring at Eliza's 'picture wall' displaying all of her's (and some of Samuel's) pieces from the day. Apparently he really liked what he saw.

We love conference and can't wait until October.
