As they were placed on the table, Eliza announced that her favorite food was now artichokes.....or 'chokes' as Luc calls them. There is some evidence that Samuel likes them too (see above--could he eat any more of that poor leaf?). When at last we reached the coveted artichoke hearts, I cut them into pieces so that we could all share them and Eliza asked "is this the heart of my artichoke heart?"Happy children make it all worthwhile. They take after their momma BTW who LOVES artichokes too!

they had the most beautiful looking artichokes today at costco. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
