Our ward put together a team at the last minute (literally) to compete against 25 or so teams (I did the math I swear) in a multi-stake women's softball tounament.....we didn't expect to play past day 1 but made it all the way to the finals....we came in 4th. We played without a full team the second and third nights...like I said we didn't really think we would be back, but we had a GREAT time!!!

That ball really is on the concrete... the first team we played was a real confidence shaker

Team day 3.We played the last game with sprinklers on in the outfield (not to mention the stickerbushes in the midfield...). 
It is hard to concentrate on catching the ball when you are being pummled with random strokes of water.

and Luc was our ball boy (for better or worse). The best part for me was having my kids cheer me on. Luc still thinks that all softball is played by me ('mommy's baseball game' just like all soccer is played by his cousin Austen 'Austen soccer game')....

(Day 2-Samuel kept asking ' what is that smell' but Eliza' has decided that she 'loves that smell'! go figure...)

Did ya really have to put the pic of me being helped to my car with my Bengay in hand? We did have a blast eh...
Its very painful to see all the fund that was had without me.
